Highly targeted monitoring solution

Building on the proven MSR Standard platform, the MSR Modular delivers the same trusted performance with an added layer of flexibility. Its modular design allows mines to configure the system to specific operational and budgetary requirements, making it a long-term investment in safety and productivity.

At its core, the MSR Modular provides real-time slope stability data at ranges up to 4000 m. Optional power modules, including battery, generator or solar, together with multiple mounting configurations, to give mines the freedom to deploy the MSR Modular in the way that best suits their site.

Environmental

Reliable radar data.
Available when it’s needed
most.

Designed with defence industry engineering standards, the MSR Modular is built to perform in extreme field conditions. It operates reliably in high winds, heavy rainfall and wide temperature ranges. Advanced atmospheric correction algorithms eliminate the need for Known Stable Regions, ensuring consistent, high-quality radar data when it is needed most.

Auto-georeferencing

Auto-georeferencing 3D illustration

The Integrated GPS with full GNSS capability now allows for quick and easy geo-referencing of the radar into the mine s local coordinate system by the push of a button.

An Auto georeferenced system can be deployed during the day or night and eliminates the requirement for line of sight to reference points on the mine when utilising a total station. Predetermined reference points can also be imported to determine the position of the radar within the local mine coordinate system. The hardware is a permanent installation that eliminates the need for additional tools or cables.

Data-driven decision making

Rapid AlignTM

The MSR series incorporates the powerful Rapid AlignTM software, which enables the generation of long-term databases. With this advanced software, the MSR system automatically re-aligns scan regions once the system has been georeferenced. As a result, the system can scan the same region as before, ensuring seamless data acquisition within the same database used previously. The Rapid AlignTM software provides a convenient and efficient solution for managing and accessing long-term data, enhancing productivity in various applications.

Long-term database

Access to long-term datasets provides geotechnical engineers with valuable insight into slope behaviour. Historical back analysis helps refine pit designs and set accurate alarm thresholds, improving the ability to predict and manage geotechnical risks over time.

Integration

The MSR seamlessly interfaces with data from a variety of Automatic Total Station systems and extensometers. Real time radar data is displayed along with color coded vectors that are scaled accordingly providing an integrated monitoring solution for all operations.
